Mission Statement

Mifflin Township contains 3.9 square miles of land, 13 miles of paved roads, and 2 miles of gravel alleys, served by four full-time employees.  

The Service Department patrols the township looking for pot holes, storm sewer problems, trees in the roadway, missing signs and other issues with the roadways that could be a safety related problem.

The Mifflin Township Service Department is in charge of maintaining the Roads, Bridges, Storm water systems and the Road signs.

The Department is funded by the Township Road and Bridge Fund, the state motor vehicle license tax, and the state gasoline tax.
